Newly-arrived international students are encouraged to participate in the Orientation Programmes organised by the Education Services Division of Singapore Tourism Board. This 2-part programme (Talk and Tour) is conducted regularly on a monthly basis for all international students studying full-time in Singapore. Students are briefed on Singapore Education and its offerings, what to expect while studying and living in Singapore and it covers areas such as law and order, advice on student accommodation, the Singapore culture etc. Participants get to experience a typical neighbourhood housing estate and its many facilities, move around the Learning Hub and visit many interesting places during the Orientation Tour.
